Dianthus through the years

    2012: Where it all started.

    By consolidating its three production sites in Kingston Upon Hull into a purpose-built, state-of-the-art production facility in Newport East Yorkshire, JZ Flowers entered a new era of growth and Dianthus Business park was born

    2014: Phase 2 expansion completed

    Addition of 5,500m² of cold storage and production facilities added to the site to meet growing customer demand.

    2015: Significant expansion with a new tenant

    New addition of 12,500m² of production and storage space for a new tenant in the floral industry.

    2017: Investing and renovating

    Two existing units were upgraded to a higher standard to match our other buildings adding a new tenant to the site.

    2019: Moo Arrivals

    Hester and Louise our two beautiful highland cows join our resident livestock of local ducks and geese here at Dianthus business park as our paddock tenants.

    2022: Completion of three new units and lorry park

    We expanded the site with three new tenants giving a warm welcome to the forever growing Dianthus Family.

    2023: Wetlands project completed

    Providing flood protection for the site while also creating a fantastic habitat for local wildlife.

    2024: Power Supply Upgrades

    Upgrading the site from 2,000 kVa up to 10,000 kVa ensuring Dianthus Business Park is prepared for all future expansions.

    2025: Building for the future

    Planning submitted to expand the site by 30% and with this start our venture into renewable energy. We hope to make Dianthus Business Park one of the most appealing & cost effective Business Sites in the area.
